This is an excellent book that goes really deep in the credit reporting business. This is a must read for anyone interested in the topic.
In fact, it should be mandatory reading for all consumers, especially young people just building their credit. It's really scarcy how much of a role credit reporting plays in our lives. The book is full of real examples of identity theft, mixed credit reports, and the scary inner working of the credit business.
The author, Evan Hendricks is a long time privacy advocate and editor of the Privacy Times.
